At Far Out, we provide premium camping experiences for Austin and the surrounding areas. Whether you’re looking for a Class B van for the weekend or class C motorhome for your next family trip, you’ve come to the right place.
You won’t find your Grandpa’s Winnebago here. All of our RVs are newer than 10 years old, so you can leave the dumpy, musty rigs in the 1970s where they belong. We also provide everything you need for your adventure, with personalized touches along the way. We keep our rigs fun, fresh and modern, to make your trip feel like the vacation you deserve.
How Does It Work?

Browse our listings below or on Outdoorsy to learn about our fleet. Then, submit a booking request for the dates you want to get away.

Book & pick add-ons
We’ll respond to your request ASAP to understand exactly what you need. Once we’re on the same page and have addressed add-ons, we’ll approve the booking and lock in your dates.

Check In
We’ll walk you through everything you need to know about your rig at check-in. We want to get you on the road as quickly as possible, but keep in mind this can take 30 minutes to an hour.

Headed to Galveston, South Padre Island, Rockport, or somewhere out of state? Rent our reclining luxury beach chairs and umbrella for some extra shade.
Grill Out Package
Our compact propane grill, table, utensils, and hookups are perfect for anyone who wants to grill on their getaway. Note: We will walk through hookup procedures at check-in.
Romantic Getaway
Fredericksburg, Marfa and Wimberly make romantic road trips. Set the mood with a charcuterie board and chocolate strawberries (and complementary champagne) at check-in.

The Fab Freelander

This 2018 Coachmen Freelander Micro gives you the best of large RV features minus the anxiety/complexity that comes with a bigger rig; you get to enjoy full size beds, plenty of storage, a dining area, and a full bathroom, etc. without the hassle of slideouts and driving a larger vehicle.

The Glamper Van

We have your back
with insurance and 24/7 roadside assistance
As part of your rental, our booking platforms provide liability insurance and roadside assistance (just in case).
That way, if anything doesn’t quite go to plan, your financial safety is protected and everyone’s covered. If something does break down, we definitely want to know; however, roadside assistance will be able to help you get to safety much more quickly and protect you from liability.
